Blaise Sison
Blaise began his professional career as a musician 20 years ago working in Hawaii's elite nightclubs and has been performing and recording with Hawaii's top performers and musicians ever since.
His long list of credits include recording with local artist Roland Cazimero, which included world renown studio musician Lee Ritenour on guitar. Blaise has also performed with various bands and as the opening act for Kenny G and Billy Ocean. Also accompanying artists such as Charo, Al Jarreau, Rick James, Richie Havens, Lee Oskar, Toots Theilman, Michael Paulo, world class pianist Tennyson Stephens, Janis Siegal of the Manhattan Transfer, world renown Percussionist extraordinaire , "Master Henry Gibson", most notably with Curtis Mayfield, The "Godfather of Soul",James Brown. Lou Rawls, Ronnie Foster, Pat Morita, Mary Williams (original mamber of the Shirrelles)., and most recently, Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, saxophonist Jerry Martini of Sly and the Family Stone.
In 1994 he joined the local pop/rock band 5:05. During his time with the band he co-wrote and performed on their hit album "Stay Awake", which quickly garnered four #1 hits and was also nominated for two 1995 Na Hoku Hanohano awards.
In October 1994, Blaise along with partner Ben Vegas formed the group "Brother 2 Brother". As a duo they played the legendary "Riviera Hotel" in Las Vegas.
One of the highlights of his career was when he performed at the famed Carnegie Hall in New York City in 1996 with Z and the Free Radicals.
Currently residing in Las Vegas, Nevada, Blaise has been focusing exclusively on freelance and studio work. Playing venues such as the Blue Note Jazz Club with various jazz groups and ensembles. And also the lounge circuit in many of the elite hotels, most notably Caesar's Palace.
